The Gov. Nasiru El-Rufai-led administration has embarked on massive infrastructural projects in Southern Kaduna, which should serve as a wake up call to the people of the region.
The party under the leadership of El-rufai is the only platform that our Youths can showcase themselves while participating in politics.
Mr. Haruna Aruwan made the statement in Kafanchan at the ongoing APC revalidation and membership registration exercise at Maigizo Ward, yesterday in Kafanchan, the headquarters of Jema’a Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Aruwan, who toured all the 12 Wards in Jema’a LG to assess the conduct of the exercise expressed satisfaction that, the exercise was quite encouraging and the chances of APC come 2023 are very high.
He enjoined the people of his ward and Southern Kaduna to come out enmasse to take advantage of the exercise, which he said is the only way they can decide who represents them from Ward level and to the Federal Government level.
“People should not just clinge to the social media criticising, but they should look at possible practical steps to involve themselves as deciding factors on the policies of Government that will have a direct impact on them.”
Stressing that, this is an opportunity for people to join the winning party and embrace the revolution in infrastructure, education and ICT that are going on.
Responding on why he joined the APC, he said ” l watched carefully, compare what use to be the ruling party now in opposition and I now look at the ruling party today.
“What encourage me to take this giant step is the revolution in infrastructure that’s ongoing. Today, we have a giant stride that’s been achieved in the area of ICT. There is an ongoing 250 Capacity ICT Centre in BATC Kagoma, BATC Gwantu and Kauru as well.
“By the time that this project is concluded there will be a giant ICT in Kaduna State, you know everything has been digitalised and we are advancing towards the Millennium development goals that has been set.
He noted further that a lot of roads have been rehabilitated, the Urban renewal projects are giant stride which will help boost economic activities in the area and the environs.
Adding, ” With the massive infrastructural projects that are ongoing, when concluded, come 2023 there will be a revolution, change of ideas, looking at the turn out of people coming out to register is enough signal.
“When you assess the conversation amongst people you it looks as if there is a veil that have been taken off from their faces that they can see very clearly and cannot longer stand on the fence.
While commenting on the issue of insecurity, he maintained that what they’ve achieved in the area of insecurity today is not what use to be in the last few years. We were able to celebrate Christmas here in Southern Kaduna and it is very peaceful and we have not recorded any attack within the period under review,” Aruwan said.
However, we have not achieved total peace yet but we’re hoping and praying that peace will return to our various Communities.
