Distinguish Senator Danjuma Tella Laah, member representing Southern Kaduna Senatorial Districts of kaduna State and Chairman Committee on Federal Capital Territory have distributed food items across the 87 wards in 8 of his Senatorial Districts.
The palliative is necessitated by the growing hunger and hardship amongst the most poorest people in his constituency following the covid-19 pandemic and lockdown.
The food items included: Rice, Beans, Yam, Maize, Millet, Sugar and Noodles.
In his remark, Laah adviced beneficiaries to maintain social distance, sanitize their hands regularly and follow the advice of WHO in combatting the deadly virus.
He also called on Muslim Ummah to take advantage of the Ramadan period and pray to God to bring lasting peace and covid-19 free world.
A beneficiary, Mrs Sarah Tachio, said, she thanked Laah for the kind gesture extended to them. Adding that, the hardship amongst even able people is high what more of people like us who don’t have a source of livelihood. We pray that God will replenish him bountifully.
Dist. Sen. UBA SANI, the KAJURU LG killings is becoming too much & required a holistic approach. I think ‘The Brought to Book’ approach does not yield results because perpetrators of these dastardly actsare left to walk freely on the streets.
