The Sarkin Yaki Festac Town in Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area of Lagos State, Dr. Saleh Pashi has called on all Nigerians to be hopeful amid the recurring decimal of insecurity and economic hardships in the country and adhere strictly to the Covid-19 measure to forestall it’s spread.
The Aviation expert made the comments in his Goodwill New Year message he issued in Kaduna, yesterday.
According to him, nothing last forever not even the most despicable situations. So, we should not allowed our present situation dampens our confidence.
It is on this backdrop that I’m urging us to remain steadfast and go into 2021 with renewed vigour. We must not give up hope because of the current circumstances that are gazing us in the face.
Dr. Pashi also beckons on Southern Kaduna people, irrespective of differences, to love each other, embrace peace rather than conflict as a panacea to peaceful coexistence.
“Our current history as a people is been dominated by intercommunal and violent conflicts, which does not augur well. 2021 is an opportunity to change our strategy,” he espoused.
He urged all Nigerians to obey the Covid-19 regulations. He said that, Covid-19 is real and it is only when the measures put in place by the government are respected that the spread can be forestalled.
While we go about our daily businesses in the New Year, he added, we must observe the Covid-19 protocols, maintain social distance, wear face mask, wash our hands with water and soap, cover our nose with the elbow when coughing or sneezing.
