The Chief of Kagoro, Agwam Ufuwai Bonet (OON) expressed his joy over how the Minority Whip and member representing Kaura Federal Constituency, Hon. Gideon Lucas Gwani and his state House of Assembly counterpart, Hon. Yusuf Mugu are working harmoniously on some of the fundamental issues affecting our people, especially identifying with the victims and the communities that are affected by the recent attacks in Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Adding that the synergy existing between Gwani and Mugu is healthy for the progress and development of our constituency. “I’m happy to note that the two of you are working together, as a team. This is what is expected of the two of you and not engaging in fighting each other, politically. I urge you to continue the good work for the betterment of our Constituency.”
The Royal Father made the remarks when the duo of Hon. Gwani and Hon. Mugu paid a courtesy visit to the Chief at his Palace in Kagoro having visited Kukum Daji, one of the communities that was hit hard by the attacks.
He also said, as a father of the land, he is happy with what Gwani is doing on the floor of the House regarding the recent attacks on some communities in kaura LGA.
“We heard what you are doing on the floor of the House as it relates to the recent attacks on some communities in our Constituency,” he said. “All I can say to you is, we will continue to pray for you.”
He advised Gwani to try and fraternise with the traditional rulers, “Always sit with the traditional rulers, in case there is any problem they will let you know and you will also let them know some of the things you are doing on the floor of the house.”
In a relatedr development, His Royal Highness the Chief of Moro’a, Mallam Tagwai Sambo (OFR), said, he is impress with the political maturity of Gwani. “I’m happy with the attitude that Gwani is exhibiting, having being elected, he has come back to identify with his constituency, for instance, in this troubled times that people are being killed by gunmen.”
“This is what we want. I’m particularly happy with Gwani for always coming around to greet me whenever he hears my health condition is deteriorating. As father, I will continue to pray for him,” he espoused.
