Former Kaduna Refining and Petrochemical Company Branch Chairman and Group Vice Chairman, Group Executive Council (NNPC PENGASAN) cum PDP stalwart, Comrade Danladi Boyis Hassan, said, his loyalty to PDP is uncompromising and given another opportunity he will contest election under the PDP again. Saying, “PDP has human face, it’s policies and programmes are people friendly, the party is detribalised, gender friendly and it is devoid of ethnic and religious preferences.”
He further stated that, PDP has 100 percent chances of clinching power in 2023 at both the state and national levels but, the party’s elites must agree, until we’ve elite consensus and until party’s interest overwhelms personal interest.
Boyis made these assertions in an exclusive interview, yesterday, with Gurara Accord. “However, if PDP in kaduna State repeat the same mistake of 2019 in 2023, we are still going to be vulnerable to defeat.
“Like I said previously, leaders must bury their personal agendas and allow that of the party to flourish. But, where there is an agenda in an agenda, it is tantamount to going into a contest with a divided house,” he said.
He went further to say, “Leaders must thrive to value the truth more than anything else. When truth presides in the party several benefits abounds.”
Boyis urge party’s faithfuls to be patient to remain committed and shun all sorts of anti-party activities even in the face of hardship and that “There must be concerted efforts by the leaders of the party to eliminate hypocrisy, deception and godfatherism from the Party’s structure so that liberty and power shall prevail.
He enjoined all leaders in the party to take responsibility and do all the good they can, by all the means they can, in all the places they can, at all the times they can, to all the people they can, as long as ever…they can.”
