The Northern Nigeria Youth Organization (NNYO), Lagos chapter executives and the entire members congratulate the newly inaugurated board of the state council under the distinguished and able leadership of Dr. Saleh McLee Pashi.
According to NNYO, our prayers for the newly inaugurated board is for God to give them the vision to promote northern youth so as to become more productive and impact Nigeria positively towards national growth and prosperity.
“May God in His infinite mercy grant you all the wisdom and ability to discharge your required responsibility judiciously and we are wishing you people a happy graceful tenure,” they said.
Leader of the newly inaugurated board and the Sarkin Yakin Festac, Dr. Saleh McLee Pashi thanked the Lagos chapter executives and the entire members of the NNYO for the confidence bestowed on them.
He said the responsibility of making northern youth to become more productive is so huge and the task of achieving the set goal lies on everyone and not us alone. Everyone has a role to play. But, as a committee that is saddle with such responsibility, we assure you that we will do our best.
“Northern Nigeria is in a dire strait, the situation in the region is terrible but, because we have the conviction that the situation can be remedied that’s why we are setting a new trajectory to fix the problems.
“Northern youth are not lazy but, the opportunities to make them very active and productive are limited. Apart from what we need to do as a people, government need to be very innovative in such a manner that our youth will be positively engaged in productive enterprises,” he said.
The Sarkin Yakin Festac thanked NNYO for the great opportunity given to them to serve northern youth in such a huge capacity. He is calling on all northerners who have ideas on how his Committee can be more efficient in achieving the set goal to please help when necessary.
“We are calling on any northerner who has ideas that are relevant to the mandate given to us to please help when necessary. Making northern youth to become more productive is a task that needs to be achieved but, the responsibility of actualising such lofty dream should be a collective one.”
