The Kaduna State Government has extended the 24hrs curfew it initially imposed in some designated communities in Kaduna South and Chikun Local Government Areas of the state to a state wide curfew following the increased activities of hoodlums.
The initial curfew on Kaduna South and Chikun LGAs was declared on the heel of the recent ugly incident where hoodlums broke into some warehouses and carted away Covid-19 palliatives, building materials and houselholds, which according to reliable sources are relief materials meant for flood victims.
The communities affected by the initial curfew includes: Barnawa, kakuri and Television in Kaduna South Local Government Area (LGA) of the state and Mararaban Rido, Sabon Tasha, Narayi and Ungwan Romi in Chikun LGA.

However, the quantity of the looted goods is uncertain but, eye witness account revealed that the goods were brought to the warehouses in about 5 Trailers.
