Kaura Local Government Area Caretaker Chairman, Dr. Humble Bege Katuka was Allegedly kidnapped, yesterday. The unfortunate incident happened on his way to his farm in Juji Village, Chikun LGA of Kaduna State by unidentified criminals.
Gurara Accord gathered that, Katuka rode to the farm on a commercial motorcycle popular known as “Okada” and on reaching the farm, the kidnappers who besieged the farm opened fire on the “Okada” rider, killing him and whisked away their target.
At the time of filing this report, we have not heard of the ransom placed on Katuka. Gurara Accord, however made several efforts by making calls to the Police Public Relation Officer to confirm the report but, he didn’t picked and later sent a text: “Good afternoon sir, I’m a journalist, I have been calling your line to confirm an alleged kidnapping incident at Juji, Chikun LGA of Kaduna State involving the Caretaker Chairman of Kaura LGA of the state. I await your response, thank you.”
It will be recalled that Chikun LGA is a hotspot of kidnapping and banditry. Several notable kidnappings that shocked the nation occurred along the Kaduna-Abuja expressway, on the fringes of Chikun LGA.
