People Democratic Party(PDP) gubernatorial candidate, Rt. Hon. Isa Mohammed Ashiru comdemned in its entirety the recent attacks in 3 communities of Kaduna South Senatorial district of kaduna state.
In a press statement issued by the 2 times PDP gubernatorial candidate following the barbaric incidents, he said, The news of the kidnap of a woman in Kamuru-Ikulu and the killing by terrorists of seven persons in Kamuru-Ikulu, Mallagum and Kpak communities in Zangon Kataf and Kaura Local Government Areas respectively on 12th and 13th December, 2022 is yet another sad commentary in our recent history as a state. It is condemnable and unacceptable.
I therefore condole with the governement and people of the affected Local Government Areas and condemn in the strongest terms these dastardly acts by the enemies of our dear state.
The sad development calls for serious concern. Security agencies must take urgent steps to uncover the attackers and bring them to book while measures to prevent similar attacks across the state, especially as we approach the festive period, must be put in place.
I also call on the people to remain calm, vigilant and keep hopes alive. With the right and responsible leadership at both state and national levels, this challenge will soon be overcome.
I pray for the repose of the souls of all those killed, the release of those kidnapped, and succour to the injured and bereaved.
