“The National Working Committee, NWC, of our great Party has by its letter of 24/04/2020 approved and reconstituted these Excos into Care Taker Committees at their respective levels.
“Following this approval, I hereby formally INAUGURATE these Care Taker Committees accordingly.
“The tenure of office of the Care Taker Committes at the Local Govt level is from 05/05/2020, while that at the State is from 10/05/2020.
“The tenure office for each Care Taker Committee is Three (3) months or as may be determined from time to time by the NWC of the Party.
“This public INAUGURATION has again become necessary due to the continuous Lockdown/Curfew currently in force in our State and the Nation in general as a result of the dangerous Covid-19 pandemic.”
Hyet urged “all members of the CTCs at all levels to ensure Inclusiveness and Open door policy in the discharge of their duties for the continuous growth and progress of the Party.
We are all accountable to the Party leadership and its members, including the public. This we must have at the back of our minds at all when discharging our duties.
“On the part of our Party faithfuls, I very much appreciate your understanding and support. The Covid-19 pandemic necessitated a hold on our congresses and should be seen as an act of God. I believe in the divine intervention of the Almighty.
“We all need to join hands so that we can come out of this painful situation more united and purposeful to lift our Party and the Country to higher grounds using Democratic tenets of dealing with one another.
I need you, you need me, we need each other, together we can make it, together we will make it by the grace of the Almighty.”
