Hon. Gideon Lucas Gwani, Minority Whip of the National Assembly and member representing kaura federal constituency of kaduna is wishing Muslim faithful in the country, kaduna State and kaura constituency a successful Ramadam. He urged Muslims to be steadfast and use this period for sober reflection and pray for our country and it’s leaders in this trying moment that we are faced with a devastating and invisible monster, covid-19.
He added that, it is very unfortunate that this current Ramadam is taking place in lockdown and immense economic hardship but, “I believe that God will see you through to the end of the Ramadam period.
“This period calls for sober reflection and prayers because what we are experiencing has the capability of overwhelming us but, prayers is the solution to every challenge because no problem is bigger than our God,” has said.
Gwani pleaded with Muslim brethrens to observe the social distancing order and other safety measures prescribed by government even at Ramadam because the virus doesn’t have season, it is constantly seeking for who to infect.
“We should please not be lackadaisical with the social distancing order. We should always wash our hands with water and soap, always use the face mask when moving out of our houses, avoid self medication and report any suspected case to the National Center for Disease Control, NCDC, or any of the state parallel emergency organ on covid-19.”
