As part of their thank you tour, the Minority Whip of the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Gideon Gwani and his Kaduna State House of Assembly counterpart/ Deputy Minority Whip Hon. Yusufu Mugu fecilitate with the Muslim communit in Kagoro.
During the visit the lawmakers said the thank you tour, which coincided with the Sallah celebration is the fulfillment of the promises they made during the 2019 campaign tour.
“Though the thank you tour was supposed to take place in March, 2020 but due to the incessant attacks on some Communities in the constituency couple with the Covid-19 pandemic which compelled us to shift the thank you tour to May, 2021,” Gwani explained.
He went further to say, “However, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the massive support you gave us at the polls. Without your support we wouldn’t have had the opportunity to represent you people and even execute some of the projects we have executed in the constituency, on your behalf.”
The lawmakers wish them happy Sallah celebration and urged them to pray for peace against the ugly incidences happening in our country.
The Dakachi U/Hausawa community in Kagoro, Alh. Sanusi Babaje thanked the lawmakers for identifying with them at Sallah. Speaking through Babaje, the Hausa community also thanked Hon. Gwani for the food items that he donated to them during the Ramadan (fasting period) and the monetary contribution he made towards the renovation of their Islamiya school. Other dignitaries present at the all-important thank you tour are the Liman of the Islamiya school, Alh. Mustapha and Alh. Dahiru.
From Kagoro, the lawmakers visited Zakka Mugu, former Councillor of Bondong who has been sick.
