The Minority Whip of the National Assembly and member representing Kaura Federal Constituency, Hon. Gideon Lucas Gwani has kept the promise he made to the Community Health School of Technology, Fadan Kagoro in Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State by attracting a Digital Economy Centre to the institute.
In a letter of deployment of Digital Economy Centre signed by Head of Special Duties Unit for the Director General/Chief Executive Officer of National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), under the supervision of the Federal Ministry of Communication and Digital Economy, Abubakar A. Dahiru, said, “Community Health School of Technology, Fadan Kagoro has been nominated to benefit from the deployment of a Digital Economy Centre (DEC) by the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), under the supervision of the Federal Ministry of Communication and Digital Economy.
“The DEC is deployed as an intervention project aimed at facilitating access to digital services such as e-learning. The DEC comprises computers, internet connectivity, Local Area Network (LAN), e-learning solution, solar powered inverter, generator etc.
“This laudable intervention is facilitated by your member, House of Representatives, Honourable Gwani Gideon Lucas.”
Speaking further, Dahiru task the benefiting community to give the agency and contractor the needed support to enable him execute the project.
“We request that you kindly ensure utmost cooperation with the Agency and the Contractor during the execution of the project and appoint a liaison officer for correspondence.”
