Kaduna State PDP Chairman and Chairman of PDP State Chairmen Forum led a delegation of party chieftains to sympathise with the people and government of Bayelsa State over the recent flooding that has devastated the state.
The team which was received by representatives of the Bayelsa State Government, joined the governor, His Excellency, Sen. Douye Diri on a visit to Tombia Amasoama-hometown of former governor of the state, late Chief Diepreye Alamieseigha where roads, bridges and homes are completely eroded by the ravaging flood, among other communities before retiring to the Governor’s Lodge.
Addressing the Governor on behalf of the delegation and thousands of admirers from Kaduna State, Hyat recalled how the Governor invited them to be part of his thanks giving service sometimes in 2021 and 2022, hence the need to visit and commiserate with the government and people of the state at this very difficult time.
Also in the delegation are the Senator in-waiting and candidate of the PDP for the Kaduna South Senatorial District’s election, Hon. Barr. Sunday Marshall Katung, former Commissioners, Hon. Allahmagani Yohanna and Hon. Edward Percy Masha, among others.
The delegation will join the governor tomorrow to receive the PDP Presidential Candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and his entourage, who will be on a special visit to commiserate and sympathise with the government and affected communities in the state before returning to Kaduna.
