The kaduna State Commissioner for Internal Security and Homeland Affairs, Mr. Samuel Aruwan described as “merchant of fake news and mischief” those twisting the story to say he said kaduna state government will repair the damaged Church in relation to the yesterday’s attack on Gona Rogo community in Chikun Local Government Area of the state.
According to Aruwan, he made the statement when he was apologizing to the leadership of the damaged church in kabrasha and also, when he was promising them that government will repair the damaged Church in kabrasha, the church that was damaged during military strike. “Inside the damaged Church,” Aruwan said. “I apologized to the leadership that it was not deliberate but, an unintended effect of the military’s strike against bandits.
“I also stated that kaduna state government will repair the damaged Church, and indeed progress has been made In that regard.
But. “merchants of fake news and mischief are twisting the story to say I made the comments in relation to yesterday’s killings in kajuru local government
“This is a blatant lie, a sad case of blackmail and the unusual demonization from such quarters.”
The power delegation that visited Kabrasha included: “The Commander, 453 Base Services Group, NAF, Group Captain Hadi S. Ahmed; Member representing Chikun Constituency in the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Hon. Ayuba Chawaza; Assistant Commissioner of Police (Operations) Abubakar Haruna;
Assistant State Director of Security, Rasheed Adelakun; and
Vice Chairman Chikun LGA, Samaila Leeman.”
