Following the Eid el Kabir celebration on Saturday, 9th July, 2022, the Ashiru Transformation Movement (ATM) in concert with G37 Youth Foundation flagged-off the distribution of Sallah gifts worth N30M to both Muslims and Christians across the 3 zones of Kaduna State.
According to Engr. Mike Ayuba Auta, Founder of G37 Youth Foundation, the items, which include: 37 Ram, 800 bags of Rice and 25 Cows are being distributed to both Muslims and Christians across Kaduna State. The gesture is to compliment Muslims at Sallah celebration while carrying Christians along.
He further added, considering the difficulty families are going through due to the prevailing economic hardship in the country, the need to share becomes imperative. In Nigeria today, families are in dire need of help and we can’t turn our eyes the other way while people continue to languish in hardship.
Auta called on the people of the state to vote massively for Isa Mohammed Ashiru because he is a man with good intention for the people of Kaduna State. He is a unifier and a peace loving man.
He urged the people of Kaduna State and the nation at large, especially those within voting age to go get their voters card. Saying, we can’t sit on the sideline and continue to complain, if we are not comfortabble with where we are, then, we must play active role in trying to change the bad situation that is affecting us. As citizens, we must be very active in politics because it affects our everyday life.
The Director General, Ashiru Transformation Movement, Maisaje Umar Yahaya, said, it is very unfortunate that this Sallah is coming at a time that the country is going through hyperinflation, hardship and many families can’t afford to celebrate Sallah if not for alms from good spirited Nigerians. He urged other able Nigerians to look to the plight of the downtrodden and give a helping hand as encouraged by the Holy Quran.
Yahaya emphasised on the need to change the APC-led government, describing it as the worst in the history of Nigeria. He enjoined the people of Kaduna State to put hands on deck and change the APC government.
“We must change the APC government because it has failed in all ramifications. However, we can only change from bad to good and the only good candidate in this state today that knows the nooks and crannies of the state, their challenges and solutions is Ashiru,” has said.
