The Director General(DG) Mining Cadastre Office Abuja, Engr. Obadiah Simon Nkom yesterday was at his country home, Biniki, Bondon District in Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State to cast his vote.
Speaking to the press immediately after exercising his civic responsibility, Engr. Nkom praised INEC for a Job weldone, the DG also enjoyed all to go about voting without violence as election is not war.
“It is heartwarming for me to vote by exercising my civic responsibility as an illegible voter. I’m impressed with INEC’s level of preparedness in view of the distribution of ligistics and preparedness.”
The mining expert called on voters to obey the laid down rules prescribed by INEC and conduct themselves in an organised and orderly manner.
Engr Nkom after casting his votes visited the the newly appointed District Head of Bondon to pay homage.
The mining C’zar was accompanied by Mr. Jerry Adams, Executive Director of Corporate Services at the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Services and Mal. Aliyu Jafiya, the Personal Assistant to the DG.
