Dan Amos in collaboration with Graceland Healthcare Development Foundation, yesterday, in Jema’a and Sanga Local Governments, flagged off free surgery/medical services worth N15, 000, 000.
The free surgery/ medical services include fibroid, appendicitis, hernia, lumps, goi, hydrocoele, and dispensing of medical glasses.
Speaking to Journalists at Throneroom Ministry in Kafanchan, the venue of the Jema’a LG outreach, the sponsorer of the free surgery /medical service, Dan Amos, said, The medical intervention programme cost him N15m.
He went further to say, “Yes, we are Politicians somehow but we should always look at the humanitarian aspect of the exercise. These are people that are vehemently in need of financial assistance health wise and the need has come to their doorsteps. So, why not celebrate it rather than sit back and think that they’ve done this to benefit from it politically? A lot of the patients are not even Politicians, they don’t even know the difference between our Parties.
“Yes, as I earlier said, a lot of these patients are not politicians. They don’t even have PVC, which means, they will not participate in the Elections. They don’t even know the difference between our Parties.”
Amos called on the electorates to allow him to serve them to attract dividends of democracy.
The Chairman, People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in Kaduna State and Chairman, PDP State Chairmen Forum, Hon. Dr. Felix Hassan Hyat lauds the health initiative by the organisers given the worsening human life circumstances in the country brought about by the 7 years of misgovernance by the APC-led administrations at both state and national levels.
He noted that Hon. Dan Amos is a leading example of what the PDP stands for-a people-centered party and therefore, called on the electorates in the area to vote en masse for the candidates of the party across all positions. He added that it will be a very costly mistake to vote for some of the party’s candidates and leave some other as this can shortchange the people in so many ways after the elections.
He also used the occasion to announce the planned visit of the PDP Presidential Candidate, His Excellency, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to Southern Kaduna on 19th December 2022 to meet with the leaders of the zone.
