APC stalwart and the party’s candidate for the State House of Assembly in Zonkwa constituency of kaduna State at the 2019 general election, Hon. Anthony Timbuark, says, human beings have come through different phases of challenges and came out better, we will soon get over Corona virus, it is not a dead licence.
Adding that, Gov. Nasiru El-rufai of kaduna State measures to stall the spread of the virus has helped nipped the situation from growing from bad to worse.
Speaking to Gurara Accord in a telephone conversation, Timbuark urged the people of kaduna state to yield to the stay at home order to avoid community spread of the virus.
“The nation wide lockdown is to prevent the further spread of the virus. We, in kaduna state should know that we are part of the wider world. So, our case is not exceptional. I’m urging us to respect the stay at home order by the El-rufai government. It is even estimated that the Covid-19 case will hit 57 in the coming days.
“I’m appeal to people in the rural communities where healthcare facilities are scarce to be proactive in preventing the spread.”
Timbuark also facilitate with Christians at Easter and urged youth in Zonkwa constituency to celebrate Easter while observing social distance.
