” If generation in the past came out from the plaques and all the troubles they came out strong i am confident we too shall pull out stronger as a people and as a nation in the body of Christ.
He observed that the Easter season also calls for the Christian faithfuls to prepare their hearts, remain steadfast and resolute in exemplifying the core teachings of Christ in humility.
Amos added such fundamental values would go a long way in promoting and strengthening the foundation of love, peace and harmony in the country, adding that the season should serve as a reminder to the selflessness, love, sacrifice and tolerance of Jesus Christ throughout His earthly sojourn.
Adding,” The Easter period also give an opportunity to send a message of comfort to those that lost their loved ones who died as a result of the global pandemic, adding even though the death toll in Nigeria is still low but so many cases are on the hospital,” Amos said.
