APC stakeholder and the party’s candidate in Zonkwa Constituency for the State House of Assembly slot at the 2019 general election, Hon. Anthony Iliya Timbuark described Sam Aruwan, Kaduna State Commissioner for Internal Security and Homeland Affairs as “workaholic.” In a telephone conversation, Timbuark, said, “All the accolades Aruwan is receiving recently across board are the clear expression of the good things he is doing in the area of security to keep us safe.”
According to Timbuark, Aruwan is unique in the sense that other commisssioners who served in the security sector served in a state of tranquility and normalcy but, Aruwan is serving the state as a commissioner in the security sector when the state is eclipsed by assorted tsunamis: communal clashes, kidnappings and the recent monster, covid-19. As you can see he is existing and performing his duties amid growing demands.”
Timbuark added, This is the kind of leaders that we need, a man that works assiduously to keep the mandate of his office. “When Aruwan was appointed as the commissionner for internal Security and Homeland Affairs, I believe that the government took a strategic decision when we put into context the experience Aruwan gained during his days as a Newspaper reporter, reporting on Boko Haram and as the spokeperson of our governor, Mallam Nasiru El-rufai and as a member of the state security council where he didn’t leave any stone unturned, he performed his duties with high sense of professionalism and precision,” he said.
Aruwan is a meticulous man, a goal getter and he does his things without placing premium on emotion but, with the right mix (Aruwan believe) he will yield the desire output than being carried away by emotional impulse. “I’m very impressed with his performance in tackling the spread of covid-19, he deserve an award for a well done job, especially when the state government domesticated the federal government ban on inter-state movement. On daily basis, Aruwan goes to all the main entrances into the state to ensure 100% enforcement and compliance. He has returned many recalcitrant travellers back to where they came from, especially Kano, a covid-19 hot spot.
“This is actually one of the measures that proved effective in curtailing community spread. If not for the strategic reasoning by our state government and Aruwan that ensure enforcement and compliance, all the Almajiris that tested negative would have just been integrated in our communities across the state thereby worsened our index case.
“It is on this ground that I’m calling on the people of Kaduna State who are gehuinely committed to peaceful development to join hands with the government to serve us better.
“And for my elder brother, Aruwan, I pray that God will see you through in the fight against merchants of conflict, Kidnappers and covid-19 pandemic.”
Honorable Samuel Aruwan is really doing a great job, he really deserves an award after the pandemic from our Southern Kaduna Youths. Who is with?
