Hon. Usman Anto of the All Progressive Congress (APC), shrewd business entrepreneur and an aspirant for the 2023 Federal House of Representatives race for Jema’a /Sanga Federal Constituency, said, “I have institutionalized this award for the rest of my life.” Anto made these assertions, yesterday, at the award ceremony in Gwantu where he awarded over 100 students, N40, 000 each, from his Constituency in various institutions of higher learning.
“The scholarship scheme is what I intend to institutionalized, a legacy that I will want to leave behind for my Children to continue. I will continue with this and keep improving on a yearly basis for the rest of my life, by the grace of God” has said.
Adding, education is the bedrock of any nation that want to develop, any community that want to grow or any person that want to develop. My aim is to give back to the community what the community have given to me. I’m a product of this locality and I’m a little bit fortunate than others and I feel I need to give others the opportunity that they need to develop themselves.
The freegiver and magnanimous politician went further, apart from the scholarship scheme, we have also embarked on a massive renovation of Boreholes across 5 Wards. We have done Ninzam North, Ninzam South and Gwantu and today we have given a sum of N940,000 for Nandu Ward and is going to be executed in two weeks time and then move to other areas.
In addition to all of that, we are trying to support what the Gov. Nasiru El-rufai administration is doing, supporting what he is doing at the center, we are motivated to contribute our quarter so that the party will do very well across board.
Gov. El-rufai is doing well and he is our Paragon. He once said, “when good people don’t come out and participate in politics the bad people will have their way.” We have a Paragon also in Her Excellency the Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, a very good mother, infact, she is the motivating factor that made to aspire.
The representative of Uchu Ninzam, the Hakimi Ninzam, Ibrahim Mamman (Sarki Rafin Ninzam) he thanked Hon. Anto for the scholarship he awarded the youth and the renovation of Boreholes across Jema’a/Sanga Constituency.
“He is touching people’s lives in many facets. With these initiatives he has shown that he put human health and the development of Jema’a/Sanga in his priority list,” he said.
He also urged the beneficiaries of the award to ensure that they utilize the resources for the purpose which it was given to them.
He then pleaded on behalf of the people of Sanga LGA that Jema’a LGA should support their people since they, Sanga people, have supported their own politicians for 24 years of dominance of the seat of House of Representatives. He went further saying, for equity and justice to prevail merry should go round.
