The Accountant General of Kaduna State, Shizzer Nasara Bada has commissioned 5 Solar Motorized Boreholes in Fadan Kagoma, Dangoma, Godogodo, Mailafiya and Gidan Waya communities of Jema’a Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The projects are part of the Kaduna State Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (RUWASA) Programme, which aimed at ensuring availability of portable drinking water in rural communities of the state.
While commissioning the projects, Shizzer said, the projects are part of the campaign promises they made to the communities by the Gov. Nasiru El-rufai administration.
“These projects that we are Commissioning are part of Gov. Nasiru El-rufai campaign promises. We have fulfilled these ones and by the grace of God we intend to do more,” she said.
Shizzer urged the beneficial communities on the careful utilisation and management of the machines and warned them against the abuse of public infrastructures. She enjoins them to maintain high standards in the use and management of the water infrastructures so as to have an enduring and sustainable water supply.
In his remarks, the Paramount ruler of Kagoma Chiefdom, Chief Paul Zakka Gyon, said, “We are utmost grateful to the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasiru El-rufai for the laudable water project. We are so happy and appreciative of the kind gesture, which will go a long way in solving the perennial water challenges the beneficial community was facing.”
The Paramount Ruler added that, “We are proud of our daughter, Shizzer for being part of this achievement. As the daughter of the land, she has made us proud.”
Shizzer is a certified Public Accountant and also member of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria. She was one time Acting Executive Secretary, Kaduna Investment Promotion Agency, KADIPA, before she was appointed Accountant General of Kaduna State.
