Adara Peace Vanguard Calls Tudun Doka Attack “Conspiracy”

In a press statement issued by Adara Peace Vanguard, APV, and signed by it’s President, Mr. Onomso Maiganyi, the group decried the spate of killings in Adaraland and described the yesterday’s attack in Tudun Doka as “conspiracy.” Tudun Doka community is close to Agwala Magayaki, Idon Ward, kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
According to APV, “Armed Fulani militia attacked the village at the wee hours of yesterday and killed 9 people, while 7 people are still missing.
The group went further to say, We have experienced dozens of attacks on our villages but that of today was a conspiracy. On Saturday, May 30th, 2020 when the chairman of Kajuru, Cafra Caino issued a statement alleging that some Ruga around Agwala were torched we suspected something was being hatched. When the next day we saw them inspecting some huts they alleged were the burnt ones, our suspicion became strong. When the news was aired without including our villages and people that were destroyed and killed we knew it was just time before another of our village would be attacked.
Now it has happened. Cafra Caino and Samuel Aruwan who took the media to inspect the alleged burnt huts of the Fulani and lied on both the date of the so-called attack and that it was those talking about previous attacks that caused the alleged one on the Rugas should congratulate themselves on today’s attack on our people.
We know that the attackers would not be arrested. No effort would even be put in pursuing them into the bush or securing other villages. What they are more preoccupied with is arresting those who are talking about the senseless attacks and murder of our people. Including mobilizing people on twitter to deny the attacks in southern Kaduna. To them, those talking are the real enemies.
The President of ADA, Mr Dio Awemi is being prepared to be arrested. Steven Kefas is also being prepared to be arrested. Others that have been talking are being documented for harassment. All these while the killers roam free and kill at will. We have villages in Gefe where the armed Fulani militia are still loitering around, but no effort is being put to drive them away. Only those talking are being threatened with arrest.
We will bury our dead ones, treat the injured and cater to the displaced ones. But everyone should be rest assured that our children would hear of the role everyone is playing today.
